Wiz to Hold Camp at Patriot Center

The Wizards announced on Thursday that the team will hold their 2011 training camp at the Patriot Center on the campus of George Mason University in Fairfax, VA. Training camp will begin with a “Midnight Madness” practice on Sept. 28 and conclude with a FanFest and open scrimmage on Oct. 3. Rookie Portraits: John Wall | Trevor Booker

Wizards Announce TV Schedule

The Wizards and Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic have announced the team’s 83-game regional television schedule for the 2010-11 season, which includes 80 regular-season games and three preseason games. For the first time, the network’s schedule features high-definition broadcasts for all regular-season Wizards games.

China Eliminated By Lithuania

Yi Jianlian had another strong performance for China, scoring 11 points and grabbing 12 rebounds, but it was not enough as China fell to Lithuania, 78-67, knocking them out of the World Championships. Through Tuesday, Yi's 20.2 ppg. average is the third highest in the tournament and he leads the tournament in rebounding averaging 10.2 rpg.
