George Blaha’s broadcasting career, highlighted by 34 seasons as voice of the Pistons, will be fittingly saluted Monday night with his induction into the Michigan Sports Hall of Fame. He still gets the same charge out of sitting courtside today as he did in the fall of 1976, when the Washington Bullets came to Cobo Arena for his very first game.

Meijer Classic Tickets On Sale Now

Individual tickets for the Detroit Pistons preseason game at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, The Meijer Basketball Classic, went on sale Friday at 10 a.m. The Meijer Basketball Classic, featuring the Pistons and Dallas Mavericks will be played on Wednesday, October 13 at 7 p.m.
