ORLANDO, Fla., Oct. 27 (Ticker) -- The Miami Heat appear ready for the regular season.

Dwyane Wade scored 25 points, Shaquille O'Neal added 19 and Antoine Walker 17 as the Heat cruised to a 104-90 victory over the Orlando Magic, who again began life without Grant Hill.

There were questions about how Walker, acquired in the offseason, would mesh with Wade and O'Neal, Miami's established stars. But Walker started at small forward and made 7-of-16 shots while grabbing seven rebounds.

In the first half, Walker and Wade scored 14 points each as Miami held Orlando to 26 percent shooting and opened a 55-38 lead.

Backup center Alonzo Mourning had 11 points and 12 rebounds off the bench for the Heat, which played its regular rotation except for injured reserve swingman James Posey.

Steve Francis scored 22 points and Hedo Turkoglu added 14 for the Magic, who learned earlier Thursday that Hill, their All-Star forward, would be sidelined for three to six weeks with a sports hernia.

Hill missed the majority of his first four seasons in Orlando with a series of ankle injuries before playing 67 games last season and averaging better than 19 points.
